  3. Select the logo of your choice out of those samples.
  4. For adjustments, you can use the design editor where you can edit the color, text, style and font.
  5. Explore through other options and create a design as per your needs.
  6. You can either save your design or download the files for instant use.
  7. For downloading, proceed to checkout and pay online to be able to download the logo.

What is the file format I will get when I purchase the logo design?

The files are downloaded in three different formats for branding materials and online use:
  1. Portable Document Format (PDF)
  2. Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)
  3. Portable Network Graphic (PNG)

How can I download the files of the design I created?

You may download the design after you have purchased it through our website. Click on ‘My Designs’ after payment and you can view the created files and download them instantly to your computer.

How can I get a vector file for large scale printing?

The files are downloaded in PDF format, which is a vector file mainly used for large scale printing.

Are JPEG and PNG high resolution files for printing?

No, they both have a resolution of 300 DPI (dot per inch) which is generally used for small scale printing only.

Do I have to pay extra if I make certain changes in my design after purchasing them?

Yes. Any design alteration after you have purchased and downloaded it will be considered a new design. You have to pay extra for the new set of design files before you can download them.

What are the ownership rights of the designs that I have purchased?

All design symbols in the gallery are available for use of multiple users. Therefore, all design templates and their copyrights remain with UtterPrints only.

How can I trademark or file for copyright the logo I designed for my business?

Please note, all design templates and symbols available in the gallery are available for download for multiple users; they cannot be trademarked or copyrighted. Users may get a license to use the logo designs made by the ‘Do-It-Yourself design tool’ and use them for business branding purposes only.

How can I combine the logo designs on the website with other customized designs?

Currently, the website does not offer the choice to upload and combine designs other than the ones present in the logo design gallery. For further information you may write to us at support@utterprints.com .

Business Card Maker

Where do I start to design my business card?

Follow these instructions to create a professional and unique business card design:
  1. Enter the name of your company and choose the industry from the drop down list.
  2. Click on ‘Get a Business’ to view various samples.
  3. Select the business card of your choice.
  4. You can use the business card editor where you can customize the color, text, style and font.
  5. Enter your company address, email or any other pertinent information.
  6. You can either save your design or download the files for instant use after checkout.

How can I add the text to my business card?

Once you’re working in the design editor, click on the ‘Text’ option to add text. You may also adjust the font and styles accordingly

Can I order the designed cards through UtterPrints?

Printing services are provided to clients in the US, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, France and Canada only at the moment. You may contact support@utterprints.com for printing and other service inquiries.

How long does it take for my business cards to be delivered?

That depends on the location of the customer. On an average, it takes 10-12 working days for the designs to be printed and delivered to the customers.

Does UtterPrints offer personalized design options?

Yes, we do. You can visit our gallery and choose the templates of your choice for further customization.

What is UtterPrints refund policy?

Our refund policy is acceptable under certain terms and conditions only:
  • Customized designs are created and edited by the clients, thus the orders placed will be final and no refunds will be accepted.
  • Default designs or company made templates which will only be refunded if there are technical issue in accessing the designs.
  • UtterPrints reverses the right to solve the error at first instead of providing a refund to the client.

What are the system requirements for UtterPrints ‘DIY business card design’ tool?

There are no requirements. You are only advised to use browsers that support the latest HTML 5; such as Google or Firefox for better accessibility.

Where will my logo be used?

A logo can be used to create websites, business cards, letterheads, customized stationary items and other branding materials.

Letterhead Maker

Is knowledge of graphic design required to use the letterhead maker?

Not at all. Simply follow these instructions:
  1. Select the template design of your letterhead from the gallery.
  2. Select a position to add your company’s information within the letterhead.
  3. Type in the information and adjust/edit the font size and style.
  4. Complete the added details and download or save your design.

What is the letterhead design for?

A letterhead can be used for company branding such as stationary, notebooks, diaries etc. It helps you to correspond with clients and build an attractive image in front of your customers professionally. It provides the company with a separate identity and a proficient look.

How do I purchase a logo for my letterhead design?

To complete your letterhead design you may purchase and add a logo directly from UtterPrints’ logo maker. Click on the ‘Purchase Logos’ option and select your favorite logo design from the menu.

How do I add text to the letterhead?

You may add and edit text in the letterhead by clicking on ‘Add Text’ and type in your company’s information, address and any other pertinent information.

Envelope Maker

How do I use the envelope maker to design one for my company?

Follow these instructions:
  1. 1. Choose an envelope design you like.
  2. 2. Add the company details using the text editor.
  3. 3. Preview, save or download your design.

I don’t like my design, can I start again in the letterhead tool?

You can choose the options ‘Reset’ or ‘Undo’ from the menu to restart your design or fix the current one.

Can I add text to my envelope design?

You can add your text using the ‘Add Text’ option and type in the details.

How can I change the existing envelope design layout?

You cannot modify the design once you have chosen the template. Minor adjustments and customization such as changing an element, adding text or the color of an object is allowed.

Can I add a logo on my envelope design?

Yes, you may. Simply click on ‘Purchase Logos’ to purchase the logo design and add that to your envelope layout for a refined professional look.

I’ve made a mistake, how can I make changes to the design?

You can adjust the design by selecting the ‘Reset’ or ‘Undo’ buttons for fixing an error or completely restart the design.

Custom Design Services

Does UtterPrints provide custom design services?

Yes, we do. You can get minor or major alterations of your preferred design template or by ordering a fully customized design by contacting support@utterprints.com for further service inquires.

Formats & Resolutions

What type of design file formats will I get when I download?

For low scale and high scale printing we provide the designs in three different file formats:
  1. Portable Document Format (PDF)
  2. Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)
  3. Portable Network Graphic (PNG)
Social Media covers will only be available in PDF formats when downloaded.

What is the resolution for JPEG and PNG files?

They both have a resolution of 300 DPI (dot per inch) which is generally used for small scale printing; such as wedding invites, monograms and logos. Social Media covers will have a resolution of 72 DPI (dot per Inch)

Can I get a vector file for large scale printing?

No, you may not. However, the PDF file we provide is suitable for large scale printing.

Can my logo be redesigned in vector format?

Yes, our team can create vector format files for your chosen design at an additional charge. You have to send an email along with the design ID to initiate the process and get the price quotation. After which, the initial draft is created within 2 working days. The time duration and pricing of the entire process is calculated after viewing the design and understanding its complexity.

Payments & Refunds

Why am I being charged additional charges when I change the design after making a purchase?

We consider a design is new, when even a minor adjustment has been made to it after it’s downloaded. The user has to pay additional charges according to our Terms and then be able to download the new set of files.

Does UtterPrints offer a refund policy?

The refund policy is acceptable under these terms and conditions:
  • Customized designs are created and edited by the clients, thus the orders placed will be final and no refunds will be accepted.
  • Default designs or company made templates will only be refunded if there are technical or design differences between the actual and the final product.

Which online payment methods are accepted at UtterPrints?

We accept payments made from all leading online portals including PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Downloading &Printing

How can I download my logo design files?

Once you’ve made the payment, you can view and download your purchased design files in ‘My Designs’.

Can I place an order of the designed business cards through UtterPrints?

Ownership & Trademark

Who owns the rights to my DIY designs?

Every design in the gallery is under the ownership of UtterPrints. No rights may be permitted to the user unless he/she purchase the exclusive rights. For further information contact our sales and support team support@utterprints.com.

Am I allowed to trademark my own designs?

All designs in our gallery is available to download for all users but does not offer exclusive rights to a particular user. Therefore they may not be trademarked and copyright. All trademark and copyrights belong to UtterPrints.

What steps should I take if I forget my password?

  1. Visit the login portal and click on ‘Forgot Password’
  2. Enter the Email address your account is signed up with.
